Mr. Abdul Ghani Al-Atari, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, met the Director of the Customs police in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate and the suburbs of Jerusalem, colonel Murad Shuqai, at the headquarters, to discuss # the horizon of cooperation between the two parties.
Mr. Al-Atari praised the role of the customs police in implementing the law # to protect the Palestinian markets # and to maintain the national economy from illegal goods. Furthermore, he stressed that the cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and the customs police is to protect traders, preserve their interests, and facilitate the means of transferring goods between governorates.
The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Directors: Vice chairman Mr. Mohammad Al-Nabali, Eng. Muhammad Abdin and Mr. Saadi Al-Khalili.
