Ramallah and Al-Bireh Chamber of Commerce and Industry Organizes Specialized Workshop on Digital Transformation and Electronic Payment Solutions in Palestine

The Entrepreneurship and Business Development Center at Ramallah and Al-Bireh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with Middle East Investment Initiative (MEII), organized a specialized workshop entitled “Digital Transformation and Electronic Payment Solutions: The Latest Methods and Applications in Palestine.” The workshop was attended by a number of business owners, entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in the fintech and digital transformation sectors.

This workshop comes as part of the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to enhance business owners’ awareness of the importance of digital transformation and keeping pace with modern technological developments that contribute to improving the business environment and enhancing the efficiency of financial and commercial services in Palestine.

The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the latest electronic payment solutions and modern financial applications, while highlighting the role of digital transformation in improving the efficiency of financial operations and contributing to greater business growth, expansion, and access to wider customer segments, in line with the rapid changes taking place in both local and global markets.

The workshop hosted trainer Mohammad Al-Khalili, who has more than 12 years of experience in finance, technology, and business development, and currently serves as a Business Consultant at the Middle East Investment Initiative (MEII). He delivered a detailed presentation on the latest trends in financial technology and digital transformation.

During the workshop, Al-Khalili addressed several key topics, including the concept and importance of digital transformation for commercial enterprises, the latest financial solutions and applications used in the Palestinian market, and mechanisms for receiving and transferring electronic payments. He also reviewed the role of financial technology in increasing sales, enhancing business growth, and improving customer experience. In addition, he discussed the fees and commissions associated with electronic payment services and the best ways to benefit from them.

The workshop witnessed strong interaction from participants through discussions and inquiries related to the reality of digital transformation in Palestine, the challenges facing the business sector in adopting electronic payment methods, as well as the opportunities available for developing digital financial services and increasing reliance on modern technological solutions across various economic sectors.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the Chamber reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the organization of specialized meetings and training programs that keep pace with the needs of the private sector and contribute to strengthening the capabilities of business owners, enabling them to benefit from modern technological developments in support of the sustainability and growth of their businesses.
