Dear Businessmen and Businesswomen in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate,
The Ramallah and Al-Bireh Chamber of Commerce and Industry has completed its 75th anniversary at the beginning of 2025. A journey
marked by providing, building, and serving the private sector, including merchants, businessmen, and businesswomen.
These years have witnessed difficult challenges, marked by risks and working in an economic environment where success was an elusive dream. However, with your determination, persistence, and steadfastness on this land that deserves life, you have survived, developed, and achieved many successes.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Chamber has defined its role, vision and mission from the beginning, which are summarized in representing and defending the interests of the private sector. In addition to developing its services towards building a Palestinian economy that contributes to the resilience of citizens and merchants and enhances corporate social responsibility. These principles remain the primary driving force behind our work.
The Chamber, which today represents the largest base for the private sector in the governorate with more than 5,800 members, affirms, despite all the circumstances and challenges, the importance of the Palestinian private sector’s role in steadfastness, construction, investment, and strengthening the role of the economy in the liberation process and achieving the Palestinian dream of establishing a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The complexities of this phase require us all to stand united in confronting them, and to strengthen our unity and cooperation among ourselves, both at the institutional and individual levels.
We are the sons of this nation, the merchants, businessmen, and businesswomen. We are the members of the General Assembly who are determined to ensure the success and resilience of this beloved country.
Best regards,
Chamber’s Chairman
Abd Al-Ghani Atari
